Teachers Needed!

You know how certain teachers can make a difference in your life? I remember when I was in high school and in a teenager kind of way I was working hard not to be myself.  One day my drama teacher, Mr. Sweeney, looked right into my eyes and said to me: "Bobbi, I know you're in there..." I will never forget how I felt at that moment. Found. Lost. Surprised. Awake!

We are reaching out to spread the work about the 4th Annual Progressive Ed Summit at City Neighbors on February 1, 2014.  Last year the Summit attracted 274 Attendees, with teachers from public schools (including charter schools) private schools, parochial schools, Universities, alternative schools, home schools, and folks from foundations, businesses, parents, neighborhood folks,  a great group from a variety of backgrounds.

This is a day of learning, or sharing, of creating possibilities. There will be workshops, great food, conversations, and a gathering of folks who care passionately about teachers, students and authentic learning.
